Saturday Mini-Soccer Coaching sessionMini
Soccer was introduced by The Football Association a few years ago to encourage
players of a younger age to get involved in the sport. Mini Soccer is played on
smaller pitches than normal, to encourage players to have more touches of the
ball and feel comfortable in possession.
The
coaching sessions at Hale United JFC will be based on foot skills, ball
manipulation, fun based practises and game formats. The FA qualified coaches
will promote touches of the ball and players will be encouraged to have a ball
at their feet as often as possible. Mini Soccer can take the form of friendlies,
festivals and leagues. All of our coaches conduct their sessions with a smile on their face. The emphasis is on individual player development - ENJOYMENT is more important than winning. A typical training session at Hale United Saturday Soccer Centre would be as follows: 9.00-9.10am Player Registrations 9.10-9.20am Warm-ups 9.20-9.40am Skills session 1 9.40-10.00am Mini-Soccer Games 10.00-10.10am Breaks 10.10-10.30am Skills session 2 10.30-10.45am Mini-Soccer Games 10.45am Player of Day Presentation Mini Soccer is played internationally and is recognised by The FA to be the correct and appropriate format for players to develop. Mini Soccer is a platform for players to develop in a realistic and enjoyable environment whilst improving their skills and learning about the national game. |
