Code of ConductThis policy has been developed in order to maintain high standards and to allow the players and their team mates to enjoy themselves as much as possible. The code of conduct also extends to include the behaviour of the coaching and management staff and parents.It is expected that all members of the club observe these rules. A. PLAYERS Be Punctual Wear shin pads Bring a drink and snack to training and matches Bring waterproof clothing just in case Take all your belongings home with you Take all your rubbish home with you or put it in bin Do not swear Do not bully Do not repeatedly fool around Do not argue with referees Do listen to your coach/manager Do shake hands with opponents at the end of matches Do try your best Do enjoy yourselfB. PARENTS & SPECTATORS Do remember that the club is responsible for your behaviour Parents/guardians should set a good example to the children Do not encroach on to the pitch Do not coach the team but leave it to the coach/manager Do encourage the team Do not question the referees decision Do feel free to help in training and on match daysC. COACH/MANAGER Be punctual Do create a good atmosphere/learning environment Do be approachable Do encourage fair play and good behaviour discourage foul play Be organised Be enthusiastic Do abide by the laws of the game Do observe and know your players Do shake hands with opposition manager and officials Do try at all times to develop your players as people and not just footballers |
